Friends & Family Test

All patients/carers are invited to provide feedback on their experience of the Practice services. This continuous feedback will be used to improve services and will be regularly reviewed allowing us to mark progress over time.

Appointmentscalendar

The Practice offers a range of appointments throughout the week. A computerised appointment system is used.
Routine appointments are bookable in advance. All appointments are by appointment, we do not provide a "Drop in or Walk In service".

The Reception staff may require a brief reason for your attendance so that your need can be dealt with in the most appropriate way.
All members of staff are strictly bound by the NHS Code of Confidentiality, so you can discuss your needs in complete confidence.

Urgent Appointments:
Triage Between 8am - 9:30am

The Practice operates a triage service for prioritising urgent appointments between 8-9:30am Monday to Friday
If you feel you need to be seen urgently on the same day - please press Option 4 and give the Receptionist a brief description of the reason for your call. This allows the call to be dealt with appropriately.

Triage is a joint GP/Nurse system, operated by Sister Liz Eastwood and the Duty Doctor every morning between 08:00 and 09:30. This allows us to direct requests for urgent or same day appointments to the most appropriate health care professional at the most appropriate time.

Your call will then be triaged by the Nurse Practitioner or a GP; appropriate advice or an appointment will be offered.

Text Alerts

We have a facility to remind patients about forthcoming appointments via Text Messaging. Please ask at Reception if you would like to take advantage of this service. Please ensure you let us know if you change your mobile number, so that we can update your records.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the appointment to someone else.
